The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

We don't use foam on every fire. Over the last 30+ years, I've put out a lot of fire with only water. But when faced with a trash pile or dumpster, I do like it.

Heck my guys wont even look or use a system without foam on it...LOL.. Every single truck I have has foam capability on it...For us its worth its weight in gold...

Good morning everyone...And thanks Chief I did some checking and Foam Pro makes a minfold to use, so foam can be used in a monitor.

did someone mention coffee? our department is running a contest i'm not sure i agree with. the person who makes the most medical calls gets a fully stocked trauma bag. makes for a lot of responders at all call and not that many are needed.

Hey cheif (Question)??? In one of your postings you said you run foam in your monitors. What kind of foam systems are you running??? The reason I ask is because all the sytems I have seen up to today take allot larger supply of foam then what you had posted on the 25gal side. The eductors I have seen for the monitors are set up for bulk storage tanks or 55 gal drums of foam. Thought I would ask!!!
