This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Good Morning Princess Blundertush, The Naughtiest Scrooge & Naughty Naughty Chief Chris.tmas...
hee hee... i knew I would have to be blatantly obvious - if my picture was not enough ;-)
thanks I LOVE the spanking line :)
OMG I am so in tears from laughter now... Thanks Chris!
BLACK ICE!New forbidden term.Report to the line Naughty Elf for some discipline!
I'm with ya Jim.Up here in my neck of the woods sn*w is not a bad thing.I think they like to find a reason for the spankings.:)
In the wildland fire biz there is a system for not doing something you think is unsafe. It's a system for properly refusing risk.It follows the chain of command and does not stop the total operation from being carried out.
Black ice is no fun.Had several incidents one night last winter on black ice.Almost didn't make it to a couple.Rescue unit would just start sliding and you would just hang on and let it slide into the ditch, then climb out and go some more.Super happy to see the salt trucks that night.
wow kyle - you have had a busy season of strange adventures... be safe...
Naughty G - can't believe you already caved and changed your handle - and then you are LEAVING us for a while ... rude... hope we did not do something to offend you... xoxoxox ... come back soon...
the top picture in the back ground you can see the opposite lane of freeway traffic far off in the distance - luckily the space in between is field - instead of like here in Cali when there are concrete dividers between the lanes... and the outside breakdown lane is also 100' + of field... so luckily most of the cars just spun out and did not hit trees or concrete... though a few hit other cars... nasty mess
My old stomping ground in Vermont - my EMT sister posted these pictures of the freeway + black ice which has dozens of cars OFF the freeway
Naughtiest - you say THAT - like IT is a bad thing ;-)
