Morning folks.Ran our a$$es off the first 3 days of the New Year.Been at the firehall for one acitvity or another every day so far.

Started making some changes and also apparently started ticking a couple folks off.Oh well.If you can't bring your gear to the station for an inspection and inventory I get kinda suspicious.the last couple guys were nice guys but they were pretty free about handing stuff out and not documenting who had what.We have some stuff missing and all I want is for it to come back in.

Oh well,on to other bigger and better things right now.I'm trying to get into shape again now that I'm feeling halfway decent again.Got to lose 20 lbs. to hit my goal.Back on the water wagon I go.

Congrats Kevin.Lt is a great job!

Morning everyone!  Coffee is on.  We started our new academy last night and it looks like we have a strong group of new firefighters.  I am looking forward to getting to know each one.

Patti & Kevin LOOKS like you two are doing well... Congrats Kevin... hmm... I am not sure WHY Lt status is so awesome - were you working your way UP or DOWN the ladder of responsibilities - hee hee ... do tell... Chief Kevin...

 

I was discussing this with Chris Weber this week - I served for 10 years and I NEVER wanted an officer role - toooo much drama... I just wanted to be a worker bee... and lead from behind ;-)

Just remember when a lady gives you a compliment accept it with good grace.  I am after all trying to be nice this year so that I can get a bigger rock.
