oh Chris I am so sorry. I did not realize that you lived/worked so close to those firefighters as well. I did read about that tragedy - man alive you are so right, so many horrible things happening in such rapid succession in your neck of the woods. Please take care of yourself. And know that we are always here if you need some support or stress relief.. My thoughts and prayers with all of you and their families and departments.

Ok this year is starting to suck! The Franklin Twp Vol. Fire Dept Chief and his Asst. Chief was in a MVA Thur. night. He was killed she (the asst.) was not but in critical cond. upgraded to fair last I heard. We stood by for them in their station last night from 9p-9a.Another neigboring dept suffering a loss!

guess maybe I will give my kitties a mani/pedi and baths... great fun... complete with claws and teeth... LOL... perhaps that will stimulate me to give a damn about some less dangerous chores -  LOL...

see, even typing that sentence has me more interested in doing laundry and washing floors and grocery shopping - LOL... each of which don't involve me getting soaked (normally) or clawed...
