Thanks Kyle.. I know you were attempting to kid around, my request was very serious - tell Sarah what reasons I provided about why NOT to belong to multiple fire departments - if you were actually listening to me when I first shared my viewpoint on it.

.

Sarah - think of it in teenage language like - belonging to multiple fire departments is like attending multiple high schools at one time - everything is done differently at each place and what happens when all the important events happen on the same night - like prom - and you have to pick which prom you will attend.. and no, you can't attend both.... or trying to juggle to boyfriends at a time... someone will ALWAYS LOSE....

.

Plus, as a junior firefighter it shows a GREAT DEAL of disloyalty to your current department - as though their efforts to train you and bring them into their department and include you in their family is not enough for you - some departments even see it as grounds to remove you from the department since they see you as a spread-to-thin liability instead of an solid 100% committed asset.

Kyle - I know you mean that out of great respect for my many years of service... and many years of watching people get screwed and being screwed by being on many departments...   but I am too tired and too busy this month to school Sarah... so you should do it !!!

Good Morning Everyone! Hope you all are doing well...

and MAKING those VALENTINE'S DAY plans - EARLY... like NOW!!!

I have the day off from work... and yet my list of tasks and chores is so long - i wish I went to work - LOL... well, actually glad I am not on the freeways - today's news is sharing tons of very seriously accidents on my roadways ... so glad I am still home :)

I got fresh VERMONT maple syrup in my frig - so I need to go find some breakfast which I can smother in syrup :-)~ yummy... ya'll are invited over... come on now !!!

yeah, a new friend of mine - a good man - died yesterday... only known him a few short months, but he already made me grow and changed my life... he was so young and full of vim & vigor... so senseless this system of death... and I tell ya what, God & I are gonna have a BIG conversation about this when I get to heaven, since it is really frustrating and makes me deeply sad...

Rachel & Kyle - great to see ya both... Glad to see you two are making such great progress in the fire service - you make me so proud... and brings back memories...

Cupid's Naughty Twin - I have been thinking about the church / praying thing... and I am quite sure that God hears prayers in any setting... so I sending prayers heavenward for you to get this situation with your parents settled... It is sooo tough to be in such a precarious situation - your parents are very lucky to have you looking out for you... I pray you have the patience and strength to handle all that comes your way...  BIG HUGS !
