glad you got some help with your parents... so sorry to hear about your pup... not sure what a 3rd eye-lid is... hmmm... unless your dog as 3 eyes... but i know what a prolapse is and that is uncomfortable... hey, nothing wrong with the cone of shame if it gets the job done...

sorry to hear about your fallen brother... what the heck is up with all of these losses, especially in the fire service?

lately at our locals departments 2-3 times per week fire fighters are getting injured on EACH department... what the heck ???

the strange perk for me that happened at the vet - a lady came up to comfort me and told me she set up a cat colony rescue system at a college in San Diego - so she offered to help me try to get a proper system set up at my school, since what happens if I have to be out of town... or graduate... plus I am sure that their are dozens more homeless kitties on campus not even being cared for properly... so great to have a strong resource to help improve my current colony management...

a-holes yes... 3 more HOUSE cats have joined my colony this week alone... (i wish I had a way to get them adopted, as they are highly social)... stupid people either just dumping them or not monitoring their pets well enough :(   our town is not a good town for indoor-outdoor cats... too much traffic with the hospital and university

Hi everyone! Hope your week+end is going well...

My week has sorta sucked.

Wednesday a great man was buried... a good friend of mine... died suddenly... pissed me off big time... I did not go to the funeral, because if one more of my friends dies before I even turn 40, I don't think my heart can take it :'-(

Today I found one of the kitties in my homeless colony semi-conscious - she has struggled for the last 6 months or more elderly, frail, blind and deaf struggling to eat - so she was emaciated and miserable... scared of people would never let me catch her... today it broke my heart when I found her on her last hour of breaths... as she slipped into total unconsciousness... i took her to the vet and had her put to sleep... so sad... why don't people take better care of innocent little animals... such as sweet kitty, so sad she was abandoned :'-(

now i am going to super clean my house to try to create some sense of order and control to this world that has super sucky days

other than that life is great...

how about all of you?

I hope everyone had a nice romantic day with the ones that they loved.

 

I am still healing and just resting the eyeballs as much as possible, so time will tell how it goes.  I do know that I need to get my eyes check again....  :)
