I'm ok with it, some of the guys have relatives on different shifts or vollies for us. I look at it this way, we are all like family anyways, we live together and do off duty activities together ....the guys on my shift are helping me move, lol ....

What types of things have you seen good or bad with working alongside family members?

Any experiences you can share from your dept - or other depts?

Any idea where I could find information/written/articles on this subject?

I hear CA is cracking down on this matter and forbidding family members to work alongside each other.

What about management of them?

Does it change the work of the officers?

i.e. family drama at FD ... or on scene...
