One of our biggest problem here in Southern California right now is all the rubber-necker lookie-loos who are GOING TO THE COAST to SEE THE TSUNAMI - stupid idiots !!!

Thank God so far our Southern California part of the coast is having a high ocean / wave morning.

The marinas along the Northern California coast are reporting smashed boats and portions of the marina getting destoyed.

But they (CA) are saying they are not clearing the Tsunami warning perhaps until tomorrow - since they reported high waves an hour ago and ongoing.

Thanks everyone for your concern...

oooo Thanks Tom W for special hugs... nana nana nana hee hee everyone else - I got SPECIAL HUGS

Hey everyone thanks for all of the emails of Tsunami concern after Japan's Earthquake last night.

I am fine as I live 1 hour inland. Patti is enroute to TX this morning - though she may have known last night about it since we were notified around 9 PM our time last night.

Since it happened last night before many people in CA went to bed there was a good deal of notice. The coastal highways are being closed from San Diego all the way up through the OR coast. CA is under evacuation advisory in some areas, other areas in Northern CA and along OR coast are under mandatory advisory.

My friends along the OR coast are evacauting currently and emergency phone usage only.

Waves from the Earthquake have already been hittig Hawaii. They are reporting waves no bigger than a standard storm... some reported like a small hurricane waves without wind... other areas reported like high tide waves. No injuries or damage has been reported in Hawaii thus far.

On shift, watching the news. Supposed to be studying when not on calls, but "The Paramedic" just puts me to sleep. Besides, the tsunami is a little more captivating.
