Morning all....  My eyes are healing, I am on light duty cause I damage the tendons in my knee while on a call....  :)  I am beginning to think the station is happy to see me chair bound as they kept saying some people should never pick up a tool.....  hmmm....  4 more weeks and then I am back to being me again...  hehehe....

yes Jim you are right - 5 acres or 15 acres still a lot of work for your type of dept...

‎*STEAM COMING OUT OF MY EARS*

car won't start - repeatedly... mechanic fixed the distributor, etc. for $1,100...... I drive car home.... car won't start.... >:( so annoyed - spent me nearly bone dry and it still won't work >:-( it is spending all day tomorrow at the garage again....... gonna try another distributor - it better work... and they better not come up with another $1,100 needed on it >:-(

Whoa Jim what a mess. That is hard work right there and a big lot of land to cover in that area - sounds like you got some great helping hands and came up with a great plan to get it under control. Sarah I am so crazy excited for all of your PROGRESS in so many areas of your life... You are an amazing young lady and make us female firefighters who have gone before you very proud to see that you are having such great success  :)   Yea for equality improvements in the fire service !!!

Whoa lots of strange stuff been happening in here.... Patti I am so sorry for your loss...

I am sick sick sick... ugh... just dropping by to say hi and check on all of you... then back to bed...

My school (specifically University Property Rentals) is pissed about my cat colony being on "their" property so they have threatened to have them all taken and put down tomorrow - so I am kinda stressed out - trying to find people higher up the University food chain who can make them back down... I feel like I am in over my head... and I am SO ANGRY at these a-holes...  I will keep you posted...

and I am sick sick sick + laryngitis - so I can't really LITERALLY talk my way out of this mess :'-(
