true - but I would put out a new blanket - since when it get hot, grey/white kitty will come looking for cool shelter

I don't see some kitties for weeks - then all of a sudden they show back up.

And I have heard of cats coming back up to 2 years later...

yes, hypothermia/hyperthermia, dehydration and starvation and trauma are the primary reasons that outdoor cats end up dying... I have had to take 2 in the last 2 weeks to the vet to be put to sleep for being to frail and sickly to survive.... one kitty - which I thought was pregnant actually had a belly full of tumors...  so sad.....

the most important thing - show compassion for the kitties as long as they are around us and NEED it...   you did just that - and I APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORTS - AND I KNOW THAT THEY DID TOO - as your picture illustrates - your home was their safety zone for peace and happiness...

school is kicking my butt... and i need to be changing jobs here in the next few weeks, since the family that I currently work for are moving to San Diego - so I seem to have a lot on my plate right now...

.

ugh... and I just found out my former sister-in-law's boyfriend of 10 years shot himself this weekend ... and apparently was threatening to kill her >:-(   luckily - she took that seriously and left home - and was not there when he shot himself...  ickeee...

So after the bomb threat at my school - the school officials are so busy scurrying around fixing problems, that they have dismissed me and my need to protect the kitties on campus  >:-(   unfortunately, those that wish to do the kitties harm were not distracted - so I am quite stressed about that  >:-(   gotta start making some progress with policy around here - or really bad things will start to happen :(
