they are both married to (not to each other)... their spouses live and work elsewhere - supporting their lazy asses... that annoys me too...

A spouse should be your HELP-MATE ! Duh !

I am having a frustrating week with my housemates. I rent rooms out to two students. The 3 of us are in university - they are working on their master's degrees and I on my doctorate. All of us are trying to finish this year.

In my experience, a master's degree is 3x's harder than a bachelor's degree, and a doctorate is at least 3x's harder than a master's degree... which leads to the premise of the conversation at my house this week.

Mind you both of my house mates are wealthy and do not have to work while in school - which makes school dramatically easier - in my opinion. They are use to having a cook, a maid, and driver in their homes to serve them. So neither of them are doing their chores and strewing there crap and spoiled food items all over MY HOME !

So they both have decided I am their mama, maid, concierge, driver, and entertainment, etc. etc. etc.

So my girl housemate keeps taking/using my things instead of buying her own and asking me to take her shopping and run her errands and other time consuming things because she is to lazy to go take care of things herself. Now mind you we live 4 blocks to the store - so despite her not having a car - she could walk. And we have a bus stop in my front yard - she could take the bus... or buy an f'g car.

And my guy housemate had the gall to tell me he is too busy with his school and socializing to pick up after himself and do his 15 minutes of common chores per week. (some of the same bs I heard from my girl housemate last week)

As though all of us are not busy and specifically my finishing my doctorate is not important... when in fact it is substantially more work than their little degrees.

As you can see I am pissed. SO Please do not raise your kids to be entitled selfish brats.!

Their days are numbered in my home.

Thank you for letting me vent. Rant over...
