The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Good luck Chris!! There's a few good articles related to becoming an officer around. I suggest reading "From Buddy to Boss". Looks like I might be grabbing my helmet off the mantle and returning to my department in the fall. Probably as a truckie!! One of our aerials needs some experienced people in the company and the call volume for them is pretty sweet. They only respond to fire alarms and structure fires!! On another note, I've been trying to.start a new trade and looks like that will be working out soon!!! Hopefully going from electrician to lineman soon!!

Be safe out there!!

Morning All!  I hope that you are enjoying the wonderful and beautiful day.  Tomorrow I go in for eye surgery and will be down for a couple of days.  Keep your digits crossed that this will be the final one!  Hugs to you all and be on your worst behavior....  Someone is going to have to keep Lady Heather busy.  :)

Now Im going to learn to pump our one engine...here goes nothing. My chief wants me qualified by the end of June. Plus it looks like I'm gonna be an LT since our one LT has stepped down. Plus Im currently working on getting my EMT card back.

Hey folks.Hope everybody is doing well.Haven't been in here in a long time.Hope its still the usual antics!Stay safe out there!!!

We are running as an engine company right now as our tanker is beyond repair.Thank God I have good MA companies.

Thank a vet and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can still do what we do.
