oh yeah, and Bill you can keep the heat... it is a chilly 85 F here in Calironia too... It does seem that our heat has seeped into your neck of the woods....

Hey folks.I'm still alive,just been busy as anything and haven't had much time to stop in lately.Hope all is well with everybody.
The word for today is HEAT.Hope we don't have to gear up for anything in the next few days.Although we are hosting a structure burn class the last weekend of the month.So it is garunteed to be the hottest 2 days of the year.Just thought I would give you all plenty of lead time to get ready for the smokin temps!
Hope ya all have a good day and I'll try to stop in a little more often.

Morning all.

Monday was spent in the ER room with my dad. He has CHF and just told someone yesterday that he needed to take nitro... grrrrr.... Yes I let him have it full force, stubborn old goat and yes I called him that. So mom is going to call his cardiologist and then let me know when the appointment is.

Thanks for the coffee Bill, I think I am going to need an IV drip today.

my ... ummmm... circumstances... LOL (that makes it sound like I am involved in some sorted naughy scandal - LOL - instead of a quasi-plumbing emergency)

soooooooooooooo update...

my landlord spent the entire day working on my plumbing... way more complex than my awareness... and he even went so far as to thank me for calling him, since it was all flooded under the floor - due to old pipes...

so today he...
1) removed the toilet and changed out the wax seal under the toilet
2) changed the water line and shut off valve from te wall to toilet
3) changed the inside parts of the toilet tank
4) changed out the shower water lever
5) broke... LOL... then had to change the entire kitchen sink faucet system
6) broke... LOL... then had to change out the water lines under the kitchen sink

SOOOOO it was not totally my housemates (or my) fault... but I am still master for fixing the 18 hour clog... that is some serious hair, etc. etc. etc.


and Tom convinced me to actually TELL my landlord about the "mysterious bugs" that I have been seeing around my house lately - hee hee - I said I have been killing them and trying to prevent them, but don't really know what they are for sure... hee hee... he said go ahead and keep killing them as he did not know what they are but to call if they need a more aggressive approach... than mine... hmmm... so now he s on notice... if I need him to pay the $15K for the exterminator... *fingers crossed I will not get into any trouble with my landlord as he can be not nice*
