How come everyone thinks the grass is greener on the other side of the fence???

 

I have been to Bristol. What about it...

 

My Uncle/Aunt cousins lived in Providence for many years. So we use to travel all over Rhode Island for lots of things.

Hey Jim - how is your State fairing? All back up and running after the storms?

 

In Vermont, a lot of the schools are still un-use-able... and many of the roads...

 

My sister's kids are having (public) school in a field under tarp shelters.

 

My brother's kid's school has post-poned the start of (private) school for another month to see if they can get road access to the school.

 

So many people were flooded in May floods, and they were just getting back up on their feet when Irene came through. So many roads are just giant caverns where rivers of water swept away miles of main and back roads... In addition to so many homes and businesses... what a mess...

Good Morning to my cohorts !!!  How ya'll doing?

 

Funniest thing happened between yesterday and today... With the changing of housemates came a lot of un-needed furniture... sooooo some we stuck in the front yard (on the street) for Free and a few with small $ tags on it...

 

a few hours later... a few things were gone... AND A FEW MORE THINGS HAD BEEN DROPPED OFF IN MY YARD !!!!

 

omg omg omg  toooooo freakin funny !!!  Good thing I am in a good mood so I am not pissed about people thinking my yard is their trash pile (aka solution to un-needed furniture)... but I really was not trying to barter-trade items (while I slept)... I am trying to GET RID OF STUFF !!!     Not acquire more... sneaking little **********s

 

I live in a college town... I swear I have the strangest neighbors... if they think "for a good time"  drop your extra stuff at Lady Heather's house.......................................

 

remember what I always say... there are 3 things written on my forehead:

1) Trust me

2) Tell me you whole life story and everything personal about you

and

3) SCREW WITH ME

Hello everyone!!  Finally had one of our full days up where the class is being done so that we could finally get some of the hands-on stuff worked on.  Unfortunately, after arriving at the classroom about ninety miles from home, our department got toned out for a general...just our luck!!

 

Heather- It does sound like you have quite a bit going on there...lol.  School, training new roommates...again, as well as trying to revive yourself...I guess one doesn't need to ask if you are "keeping busy..." hehe!!

wow - lots going on in my house...

 

married couple roommates (bed bug offenders... accidentally) moved out on Thursday... spent the last few days getting the house back in order...

 

new guy housemate - 20 yr old (first "rental" ever, away from family) - moved in last week

 

new girl housemate - my age - moved in today

 

my home feels a little bit like circus-circus with all the animals shuffling about so rapidly... and me having SO MUCH homework to do   ?: - /     my brain hurts : (

 

and I am getting academic spreading of my ass from sitting too much I fear... need to do a few more squat-thrusts... and spend a few more minutes on my total gym or in yoga.... just to get the kinks out of my back from spending to much time hunched over my computer...

 

*** yawn *** stretch *** need some chocolate and OJ to revive my innerds...
