The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Sorry to hear that Chris. Nothing worse than working on one of your own or someone you know. Hope they recover quickly!

Evening folks.Hope everybody is doing OK.Not much going on around here lately.

Couple friends of ours from the Petrolia,PA VFD were in a bad accident a couple nights ago on the way home from a class.Major injuries(nothing life threatening) but it is going to be a long recovery for them both. One of the guys called here last night and filled me in on what happened. He 's in one hospital in Pittsburgh and might get out today or tomorrow.Other guy is in another Pittsburgh hospital.Says he doesn't remember the wreck, just coming to afterwards.(Car hydoplaned on wet pavement)

They were close enough to home that their own FD responded to the wreck and those guys are having a hard time too.Going to be a long haul for tham both.Asking you folks to keep them in your thoughts.THANKS.
