Thanks for sharing that one with us, Chief. That looks like some hard work you had to take care of. Anyone hear the update on the 6-8 Firefighters in Detroit? How are they now. Man, telling my wife was like a reality check, but keeps things in perspective. It could happen.

Well one week from today, I start up another academy with TVFR here in the Portland metro area. Little nervous, feel not quite in shape, will try to run 3miles today. Picking up my boots also.

Wife and kids still in FL, but I lucked out and they bought their plane tickets back home on the 24th. Lots of work to be done. Hope everyones weekend goes well. Take it easy.

Ralph, don't worry about whining. I Whine all the time. Mostly about seniors not doing the stuff they chide the juniors about not doing.
And I agree - excellent photos. Chief must have a helicopter. That or he set the camera on auto and threw it high up into the air to catch that first pic.

Ralph, you always amaze me with your "loving and cuddly" responses. THANKS though. I guess it's the thought that counts, right? Love you too buddy.
Maria and FW, I've been trying to get into Nuclear Operations for quiet a while now....the Projects I've been involved with lately defined that effort. These are just little baby steps. There's more to come. Thanks for your support. Really, really appreciate it.
