The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Good morning everyone.

Hey Ralphy and John and Crisis up working hard already early this morning.

Sorry it has been a tough couple of days Chris... Sometimes you just have to slow down to live to fight another day... and the no caffeine thing will help the migraines - that is why you want to stick to that... potentially... plus soda is bad for your health... and you are in it for the long haul, right, not just the short term suffering... So BE STRONG AND OF GOOD FAITH !!! And somedays it is ok just to stay in bed... and catch up on some sleep !!!

After a crappy couple of days,I sit here asking myself a question. Why would I jump out of bed in the middle of the night to go on a call but when the dog gets up at 6 and wants out ,why do I want to KILL IT for not sleeping just a little bit longer?I don't think this no soda pop thing is going to work for much longer.Need caffeine.

Hi everyone - sorry I have been missing all the flooding and fun. BE SAFE !!! I am in Palm Springs California - bright sunny 102 F degrees... not a drop of r**n in sight.

FW - I am so sorry for your losses and remaining issues - I know your State has been taking a pounding. Make sure to take care of yourself. And very scary rescuing the rescuers... be well. And my prayers are with you and all of your crew.

Eric - Cat naps.

Ralph - I keep waiting for the Gorilla - my house is a wreck !!!

Got to work all day - later.

BE SAFE EVERYONE...
