The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Heather there is nothing wrong with tongue, if you know what your doing its great.
And if you noticed I said quiet so I could have cursed him to a night of hell, depending on whether he believes in that.

JUST SAY NO !!!

Comment by Fabulous Heather Days of Summer on November 7, 2010 at 2:01am
I spent a beautiful day in Malibu... including spending some time on the beach... where I fell off the wagon :'-(

Tongue - NO ! Just say NO! :-)~ (irregardless of yum factor)

I think our mothers should not have said "keep making that face and it will get stuck like that" instead they should have said "your body parts will only take a bad beating a few times, then they will start falling apart and falling off!"

But then again - my favorite movie is Live Free or Die Hard !!! (maybe its a FF thing?)

Yes Chris - tell us about your colonoscopy (we already heard about Paul Montpetits) so bring it on - and any other juicy details you want to provide!

And MJ - I am impressed that you are tracking Ralph so closely that you figured out his NEEDS !!! Very Nicely Played, MJ!

*slinking out of the back room with my head hung low as I climb back onto the soda-free wagon*

I used to play pretty hard and didn't care,so maybe that has something to do with things now?Don't know for sure.I'd be more than happy to share what I have found out in the last 3 years on my little "medical journey."
Have kicked off Phase I of The Battle of my Bulge.Still not drinking soda, starting to watch portion sizes and snacking, and exercising 20-30 minutes a day.Immediate goal is to lose 5 lbs. by end of Nov. and at least 20 lbs. by spring.Hoping the will power holds up over the holidays.

004 - falling apart, aye? 90 yrs old already - dang got to get some new knees - pt/surgery/miracle ? Whatcha gonna do?

Play Hard - Die Young! Yes, I tend to live that same way. But the older I get the more I realize, we only get one body - so we have to take care of it !!!

I heard a good one lately - "I am not here for a long time, I am here for a good time !!!" You should chat with Chris and MJ - you are in good company... ;-)

Tom - "bows and tips hat" NICE - yes, I was giving you a compliment, sometimes I get better grades in classes, by not showing up, instead studying elsewhere or sleeping to function with a clear head. My Doctor brother told me in his medical school you only had to attend practicals, but not lectures, except to show up and ace every exam. My doctorate program was not so forgiving - they gave me crap when they did not see my butt in the seat and see my smiling face (with mouth shut - LOL).

Gained some knowledge on the stair issue.Luckily(or not)we don't have any buildings higher than 2 stories in our Twp.Have a few in a couple mutual aid areas however, just have not deal with any yet.
Heather-THAT'S THE POSTER.The tounge isn't listed though:)It's good.
Nyssa-Hope the test turned out OK.We all have faith in ya!
We had our first snow related MVA of the season about an hour ago.Been snowing on and off all day.My garage roof is covered right now.

FW I was wondering if their are floor leaders could their also be a stair leader one person that stands on each landing and guides people on how they should go down.
