The garage was fully engulfed upon arrival, so, obviously, surround and drown. Myself, along with three other FFs, packed up, pulled two 1 3/4" handlines, and went to work. We spent about an hour on scene getting it knocked down, cooling hot spots, getting LDH reloaded onto the 2nd in, and the handlines broke and rolled on the 1st in. Believe it or not, we had almost the entire roster on scene, that was pretty cool. After returning to the station, we washed hose, reloaded the 1st due with clean and dry hose, and cleaned SCBAs. Didn't seem to go too terribly bad for the tones dropping around 0300 and leaving the station for home around 0500. Not sure of the cause of the fire yet, but a neighbor's shed and fence was destroyed as well as some very extensive radiant heat damage to the neighbor's siding on their house and garage. Hopefully that will tidy you over for now Heather...LOL. Catch you later.
