I never realized until recently what becoming a Junior Firefighter has done for me. I am that kid who gets picked on all the time, I have few friends, and those I have stay close. I was so close to ending it, but when I became a Jr, I didn't want to go, I am always carrying my pager with pride, and when that call comes, I feel like I have purpose now.
I never really had much to look forward to, but now, sometimes I can rush out and do what I love best, running with my Fire Company.
Becoming a Junior Firefighter saved MY life.

This New year, I hope to become more useful for my company!

Sorry to hear about your GM Heather. Yup, I did use the Q word and we did get spanked. 6 fire calls and 2 medical calls in a span of an hour and half. What a way to end 2010 and start 2011.

Morning All and a Happy New Year,

Heather, so sorry to hear about your geandmother, I hope things get better. In the meantime, sending over bunches of hugs & TLC.

First run for the new year came in at 05:14 this morning, assist EMS on an unresponsive diabetic patient. Get there, walk in & they tell us, no we're good, you all can clear. Going to be a fun day!

Yes Heather i said the Q word , but for how my 2010 went it was worth a shot for it to be that word and hopefully be an easy shift , but yet again working a holiday shift is never calm

So I am f'g pissed... MJ has been calming my ass down... (but this will not get him out of the spanking line)

My grandmother just had a heart attack and got diagnosed with congestive heart failure and admitted to the hospital with an angioplasty scheduled for monday. For those of you following my life - my grandfather died in October - her husband of 40 years. Then my f'g crazy aunt has been raping my grandparents of hundreds of thousands of dollars - they whole life savings + + + Yes I reported this to APS, etc. etc. etc. - they reined my aunt in some. But my aunt still has chased my grandma out of her home of 40 years into a chit-hole apartment... and I am pissed because of the hard core stress my aunt put on my grandma - and my grandma would not let me bury my aunt... DOH !!! My uncle is with my grandma - and there is not much I can do - except vent... so thanks all for listening to another chapter of my family bs.

Thanks MJ for listening and calming me down - so I don't plan an assault - not many men can manage calming me - you rock - your wife is a very lucky lady !!!
