This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Sheesh Kevin do I really need to explain the birds and the bees to you????
Complicated for some but not for others.... Besides I ahve been told that it is supposed to help men... :)
He was bad... Did he tell you he hurt his back doing something really stupid and that he knew better?
hehehe that just brings a whole new slew of thoughts to my brain... bad brain bad brain....
and an ice pack in Kevin's nether regions ;-)
hmm.... now I am sitting here picturing Jim's arse in the shower :)
Nice job Ernie, Glad to hear that everyone went home safely.
Good Morning Everyone, Coffee is on and a nice hot breakfast is on the table... Dig in!
Hehehe Kevins in for it now!!!!
and GOOD JOB ERNIE - SAVING THE HOMES !!
WOW ERNIE ! Awesome! Now WHAT did YOU learn ???
We had our dispatcher one day have to tone us out for his own garage on fire - which was super close to his house. We saved the majority of the house - but poor dispatcher had to dispatch for an hour on his own structure fire before he could get released from work.
A different "garage fire" upon my arrival on scene (I was 5th person) to a fully involved garage - BUT IT WAS NOT our biggest problem - INSTEAD the 5 story apartment complex BUILDLINGS (yes, more than 1 bldg) on either side of the garage were also on fire... quickly became multiple apartment complexes on fire with lots of people still in each building - invite EVERY firefighter who can come FROM ANYWHERE - LOL... it was Minus 20 F degrees - dang cold - and I ended up with nasty frostbite on my neck and face due to not properly doing up my collar as we were trying to rapid rescue... and I got distracted.... big mistake :(
clearly we lost the garage... and 8 cars... and gutted out one entire apt bldg, but we were able to save 75% of the 2nd one... and NO VICTIMS GOT HURT - we rescued everyone : ) ... but a few FFs did.... and I guess my getting frostburn counts as FF injury too... (technically)... dang that was a............ COLD FIRE !!!
Thanks Ernie - glad all is well. And you got to see all your crew. And had a good workout cleaning the gear ;-)
