How do you as an officer (any level) or a senior firefighter deal with a problem employee? What steps do you take to counsel the employee before discipline. And at what point do you say enough is enough and start to document actions and liabilities? If your comfortable without releasing actual names please share with the group your stories of good and bad results. Thank you.
