Lets talk business

I would like this to be a group where firefighters who have other businesses can come network, share ideas, trade leads and help one another grow.

As a fire fighter, I have never been a fan of candles but want my house to smell great. I signed up and started selling Scentsy in August last year. I love it because it doesn't have a flame. It's a warmer with a light bulb in it that melts the the wax fragance cubes you place in the dish. So much safer!! My website is www.scentsy.com/lisagore It's a great business and only cost $99 to sign up. They have great support and training. Message me if you are interested

I operate 911owned.com, listing businesses and services owned and operated by active and retired Firefighters, EMS providers, and Law Enfrocement. I provide free initial 2 year listings.

I also own a home inspection business, Allied Home Inspections, Inc. Been doing that for 8 years now.

Stay safe all!

A business provides all sorts of life advantages. Everyone should have a business. The income can give you freedom and the opportunity to help others. I have an interesting opportunity for anyone serious about financial freedom and helping our fellow responders. Please do not pass this up, contact me ASAP. Thanks, John

My Department has been kicking around this idea for awhile and I recently took on trying to come up with a working model/ preliminary SOG's for the proposal, but now i am stuck and i have writers block so i just wanted to hear from anyone with any ideas for me or anyone who has a working live-in program at a volunteer dept.

Thank you!

Just wanted to send a quick message out; in what spare time I do have I have ran a badge designing and supply company for almost 5 years now called Cruzan Badges. I wanted to make everyone aware of a couple things...

1. 2009 is the 150th birthday for the State of Oregon and we were selected to design badges some of which are going to be worn by Fire and Police Depts to commemorate this milestone. The badges are made available to all Fire/EMS and Police personal and are available by clicking on the following link.
http://www.cruzanbadges.com/Oregons_150th_Badges.html

2. If any of you need a badge, insignia, patches, wallets, etc...please do not hesitate to ask and please be sure to mention firefighternation.com and I will give you a 15% discount. (sorry doesn't include the Oregon 150th badges). You can build and see your badge on line before you even purchase it.

Anyhow stay safe out there.
Paul
