I made the enchilada casarole TandyYoung put out earlier this month -I tweeked it a little.......
I used a combination of sausage ,and turkey 'cause beef will upset the gut of one of the firefighters I work with , and I didn't need the 1cup of H2O as the liquid from a family size can of whole corn is about enough :),sharp chedddar is my favorite cheese---It was GREAT ! :),:),:) THANKS , Al.

Any takers for the cookbook idea. Email me the recipes and I will compile them. This is only going to be distributed in FFN. Free to all members.

We don't do much cooking at the station but the guys bring stuff down occasionally and nobody ever complains about my cooking.
Right now I'm preparing for the Super Bowl party, I cook for 3 days and people eat until they can't walk. We have about 17 people shoved in our little living room,(unless my husband invites more) our kitchen and dining room are overflowing with food. The kids all come in Pjs so when they go home it's right into bed. Everybody goes home with "doggie bags"...Yeah, I like to cook!
Hate the dishes though!

Hello Brothers and Sisters, Dear Engine Crew Captain, I was wondering is there any way we could have an addition to this site to make a ccokbook an add recipes from everyone than that way we can always go back to it and look up the recipe and if we had cookbooks to sell we could even do that on here?? Iwould do it but I don't know html to make the site but we could call it the Cappys Kitchen and it would be associated with all firefighters .I think it would be a great idea. You know if you want to even take that further you could even add diets for firefighters to stay in shape and you could list all kind of health info pertaining to food and meals and beverages and deserts that would be healthy for the men and women to eat and that way it would make it easier for the firefighters to stay in shape and not overweight at all and I hate to say this but that would even have to include the Cappy!!lol lol lol I think its a great idea to add on to your group page so we have all this info at our needs if any dept wants to make sure their members stay fit. You could add exercise and how many calories each portion of food amounts too for the members. Great idea if you have someone that is great at making a nice site.Hughie The 57 House Irwin,PA
