I can share in some of the stories of NO luck. I have seen a few large does (7 on opening day of black powder) but they all were over 200 yards away. I have had 1 great sighting of a 8 pointer but he was a flash before my eyes at a dead run. (I'm not about to shoot at a hind quarter) It is growingly frustrating to see hundreds of deer all spring and summer long and not see much once the hunting season comes around. You often wonder where the hell they are hiding in such small plots of land with so many hunters yet every year they keep making it. I will post more if something occurs. :)

Well the Wisconsin deer season opened Saturday the 22nd and three days into it I have see 1 deer and 9 wolves. We have 14 people in our hunting group and to date have 2 deer hanging. At this point I have switched gears and went from trying to get my buck to looking to put meat in the freezer. Most everyone is working earliy in the week so we will start the drives on Thrusday.

just joined was wondering if any one does any archery hunting,hunt rabbits squirrels birds small game big game or anything in between. this sounds like a good group to join.today nov. 15 was the first day for rifle hunting in VT.so good luck to all for the rest of 2008.

This is the first time in 23 years I will have from the first day of NY Bow season all the way to second chance December to deer and bear hunt. Having always worked before I could only catch a few days here and there.
This is like winning the lottery(well sort of) - I hope to meet up with a nice buck and invite him for dinner!
