Any Mz/BP hunters out there? I just bought mine before the season started, got it sighted in & I'm ready to go get a deer or two. My rifle is an in-line, so it will shoot 150-200 yds w/ a tight group. I did have a mis-fire when I was hunting a couple of weeks ago in the misty morning. Appearently my pellets drew in enough moisture that the primer was ineffective. It was during regular firearm season & I keep kicking myself for not having my Ruger Super Blackhwak (.44 mag) on my belt, but w/ a 10-1/2" barrel length, I had it in my back-pack. Leason learned, I'll keep it strapped to my side from now on during regular deer season. For BP/Mz I guess I'll have to make sure my pellets stay dry. Any hints or helpful advise is welcome.
