While I don't have young'ns in scouting, my department sponsors a local cub scout pack.

WTG Chief ... if you had said no, I was going to invite them to be honorary den helpers for my grandson's den when he starts!! LOL!!

Chief, thanks for the invite BUT I don't have any kids. Am I still welcome? :-)

And none of my nephews are members of BSA or Scouts or Eagles. :-(

This is great!! Again, congratulations to you on your award!!

I was a Den Leader for three years - loved every minute of it. Our partner was the local fire hall and all of our "boys" (FF and scouts) had a blast together.

The boys learned a lot from the men on how to live their lives with honor and integrity ... how to serve! Great role models!! I am now looking at a grandson going into Cub Scouts so will become active again!

Hey, thanks for the invite. My son is in Scouts and my younger son is a Cub Scout. My wife is a Den leader and Pack assistant and I help with my oldest by as an assistant scout leader. I think this is a great idea for a forum.
