About Me:
I have been involved in Emergency Services my entire life due to my father being a Paramedic since I was born, whether it was with the volunteer fire department or on the ambulance with my dad. He was the County EMS Training Officer so I spent the first part of my life as a live practice dummy. I officially joined the Verbena Volunteer Fire & Rescue as a Cadet in 1996 at age 13 & currently hold the position of Fire Chief. I am also a firefighter/EMT with the East Chilton Volunteer Fire & Rescue, EMT with CARE Ambulance & a 911 Dispatcher for my home county.
My Timeline at Verbena Fire & Rescue...
Cadet - 1996 to 2001
Firefighter - 2001 to 2004 (#1636)
Rescue Captain - 2004 to 2006 (#1606)
Assistant Rescue Chief - 2006 to 2008 (#1652)
Rescue Chief - 2008 to 2009 (#1604)
Fire Chief - 2009 (#1601)
My dad has been a Paramedic since I was two years old & an EMT since I was born. He has always been active with the local volunteer fire department and emergency services. I fell in love with it and been doing it all my life.
