Good morning! How are we faithing? I have a thankful heart that God has given me. This joy and contentment only comes from God. Sure there have been times when temporary contentment in worldly things comes but that is fleeting. I win a drag race, feels good for a few days but subsides. Play a gig with applause, feels good for a few days. One drinks and it feels good till it wears off. Only this contentment in salvation lasts forever. Yes you have bad days. Yes you have times of woe and times of elation but that inner peace when we have God in our heart lasts and lasts. The real beauty is no matter what may come our salvation remains what it is, salvation. I can't earn it. I can't improve upon it, I can't even lose what God has saved. With contentment like this, with newness of heart and with taking God's Word in daily we end up doing things that are righteous because we just emulate our savior, we just can't help doing "good works", not to be seen but because we love. We can love because we have been loved.
Ephesians 2:8-10
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
NAS
Isaiah 43:21
"The people whom I formed for Myself,
Will declare My praise.
NAS

Psalms 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
NAS

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
NAS

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your grace and love that we will never completely understand. We are so thankful we cannot earn salvation cause we are messed up. We ask for healing of mind and body for all mentioned and all reading this today. Create in us that clean spirit that is tuned to your ways, in Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? People get under my skin. Some words just set me off. Some attitudes make my anger flare. Sometimes I just don't understand why someone I'm talking to doesn't see truth. There's the rub! Am I being arrogant? Am I judging? Do I think only I have the only right view? These are pertinent questions we need to ask when those first mentioned emotions are evoked. Yes some people are just ignorant or blind to the truth but rather than dismissing them as such, maybe we ought to say a quick prayer and shut up. A little leaven can go far. Maybe we ought to listen and learn where they are mentally and spiritually. I see people spit out exactly what our media tells them to think and believe. Man, that can be dangerous. Our truth, our principles, our mind must be protected. Infusion of media only and not the Word will bend us away from God. Don't think so? Look around to what is acceptable rationalized behavior that flies directly in opposition to the Word. We must judge the behavior but not condemn the soul. We must be ready to seek truth and act accordingly regardless of what is considered "acceptable" by the world.
1 Corinthians 2:12-16
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no man. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.
NAS
Isaiah 40:28
Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is inscrutable.
NAS

Proverbs 28:5
Evil men do not understand justice,
But those who seek the LORD understand all things.
NAS

1 John 4:1-3
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.
NAS

Heavenly Father,
Protect us from words and people who hurt us. Protect our minds and spirits and let not the enemy use our own weakness against us. Lord we lift those mentioned up, keep them safe and sane. Impress your wisdom on them. Protect our leaders and open their eyes to your ways. Lord we ask forgiveness when we judge when we ought not. Father, we praise you and are really trying. Great morning! How are we faithing? Why are you stressing over things you cannot change? Why are you complaining when things don't go exactly as you think they ought to? Why do you wear that gloomy face when you have the spirit of God to rely on and your destiny is set? Do we get selfish when we don't have things go our way? Yep to all of that. Some of us deal constantly and some of us, praise God, have overcome alot of that stuff but it still rears its ugly head. We are flesh and blood and we all have buttons the enemy can push. We also have buttons that life and circumstances push. Realizing before that selfish mode takes hold is where Godly wisdom comes in. Whenever we start to whine and complain about things we need to train ourselves to recognise and put a halt to that behavior and that thinking. It isn't always easy and there may be pain involved but seriously, when's the last time you were killed when you had a flat? Any of you died because you couldn't do or go somewhere? If you're reading this I assume you are upright and reading and not supine with a rock as a headrest. Face your days with anticipation of learning, growing and another chance to be who God has made. Yesterday is over, tomorrow has enough of its own worries and today, well today is the day to renew your focus on the thinks that matter and wise people start with a conversation with our savior...

Do not fret because of evildoers,
Be not envious toward wrongdoers.

Good morning! How are we faithing this fine day? I want to encourage you today to stand tall. Not with arrogance and pride but with thanksgiving that you came to the knowledge of good and evil and chose good. We have been where the non believers have been and indulged in all sorts of different things but now our minds and spirits are made aware of where we stray off that path of righteousness. Not that we are perfect but that we are redeemed and are able to seek forgiveness humbly and desire to improve. We are not better than the lost but enlightened. We have come to the saving grace of the son of God who already paid for you and me. When all seems to be coming down around you, remind yourself that this life is so temporary and standing for what the Word teaches will outlast any pitfall we encounter. We are not subject to evil but good. When calamity befalls us we can go to the Master for that peace and comforting knowing all is temporary and knowing evil does not control our destiny. Read these and take to heart the words within, it makes for perspective on anything that happens.

1 Peter 4:1-6

Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousals, drinking parties and abominable idolatries. And in all this, they are surprised that you do not run with them into the same excess of dissipation, and they malign you; but they shall give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they may live in the spirit according to the will of God.
NAS

Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
NAS

Ephesians 2:3-7
Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
NAS

remember our Pastors and their families, they are under attack and need us to surround them with prayer!

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your grace and love for us. Thank you for saving us even when we ignored you. Thank you for not giving up on us. Thank you for all you give us in spirit and truth. Lord we lift our pastors to you. Heal them, strengthen them, heal and strengthen their families. In the name of Jesus we rebuke satan and his minions! He has no power over them! In Jesus name, amen!

Good morning! How are we faithing today? My mind is all over the place this morning. I watch the events happening around the world, I read the scriptures, I talk to other people for their views then process all the input. Answers are sometimes very obvious and other times they are still elusive. Mankind wrestles with decisions daily that could have ever lasting effects. Simple things can change whole lives down the road. It is interesting to be reflective and try to learn where mistakes were made as not to repeat them. Do we still repeat and stumble? Oh yeah we do. We are indeed creatures of habit and unless we really seek the Lord, we will keep doing the same thing over and over. Don't whoop your own tail but try to reflect and see where you dropped the ball, pray, seek wisdom in the scriptures and then we may be able to rise above and not repeat. Man, it's rough out there...

1 John 3:1-12

See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. Little children, let no one deceive you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, that He might destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; not as Cain, who was of the evil one, and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother's were righteous.
NAS

Heavenly Father, Lord we ask forgiveness and wisdom in all our decisions. Help us see your principles at play in all we do. Help us help others to meet you and to learn to live justly. Good morning! The urgency of what we are faithing cannot be over taught or over stated. We are in the last days. Scripture describes it as so. One day or another hundred years left before Jesus returns, I dunno and I wouldn't even begin to guess because that is what it would be, a guess. The exact day isn't even important to mankind. Repenting and developing a relationship with the savior is what matters. I have watched twisted rhetoric and rationalization for sins get more and more pervasive to the point that most sin is accepted these days for fear of offending or oppressing. Please. If it's wrong it's wrong no matter how one spins it. Jesus offers us all forgiveness and a cleansed heart. Jesus also lets you and me make that choice. If you don't want anything to do with God, your choice. If you want to seek God's love and spend forever with him, the plan is laid out in the Word. If you don't want anything to do with God, there is a place that is devoid of anything that has to do with God and it is called hell. Your choice. "I don't believe in hell" I've heard people say. "Well I've never seen Guam therefore I don't believe it really exists" makes about as much sense as that first statement. It's time we Christians tell the truth. Not to scare people but to inform them. I don't know about you, hell scares me but that isn't why I believe in the savior. My day to day relationship with the savior is what makes all of this even doable. You need to stop being deceived by all the PC rhetoric and get down with the Word and stand on it even if it defies worldly wisdom. Are you offended by what the Word says sometimes? There's a good chance that sin you just got offended by is in your life or at least your view of it has been twisted by the world. We need not judge the person for a sin but love them while hating the sin. My showing Jesus' love and redemption for my sins goes way further than ridiculing and pointing fingers. The only way I can show that love is by seeking him first in all I do and that will allow me to see the person under that sin.
Romans 1:28-32
And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.
NAS

1 Timothy 6:3-6
If anyone advocates a different doctrine, and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.
NAS

Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge;
Fools despise wisdom and instruction.
NAS

Romans 1:18-19
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.
NAS

Titus 1:16
6 They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient, and worthless for any good deed.
NAS

Remember Kellie Morgan...

Heavenly Father,
Grant us the courage to stand for you and your Word. Lord we ask forgiveness for our shortcomings. We know you have forgotten our sins as your children but we still feel remorse when we commit them. Lord, soften our hearts. Let us see truth in your Word. Help us not rationalize deeds that are unbecoming of your grace and love. Lord we lift those people searching for you and those searching without direction. Show that direction so that they cannot dismiss you. Lord we praise and honor your holy name and in the name of Jesus we do pray today..amen..

Good morning! How are we faithing today? It is time for us to arise and be counted. The world is becoming a very weird place lately. I see things that just flabbergast me. I see thought processes or rather thought patterns that just baffle as to how the leap from one thing to another is made. The rationalization for sins is amazing. I by no means am judging anyone but sin is sin and when it is seen, it cannot be ignored or denied. I really have to say to those who do not believe or are putting it off, do not do that. Do not hesitate. Look at the world, there are tons of people who get snatched away by all sorts of calamity and didn't get the second chance to decide. The time was right now to accept Jesus. Don't be left with realization of the truth but to late to act.
Joel 2:14
Blow a trumpet in Zion,And sound an alarm on My holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble,For the day of the LORD is coming; Surely it is near, A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and thick darkness.
As the dawn is spread over the mountains, So there is a great and mighty people; There has never been anything like it, Nor will there be again after it To the years of many generations.
A fire consumes before them, And behind them a flame burns.
The land is like the garden of Eden before them, But a desolate wilderness behind them, And nothing at all escapes them.
Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like war horses, so they run.
With a noise as of chariots They leap on the tops of the mountains, Like the crackling of a flame of fire consuming the stubble, Like a mighty people arranged for battle.
Before them the people are in anguish; All faces turn pale.
They run like mighty men; They climb the wall like soldiers; And they each march in line, Nor do they deviate from their paths.
They do not crowd each other; They march everyone in his path. When they burst through the defenses,They do not break ranks.
They rush on the city,They run on the wall; They climb into the houses,They enter through the windows like a thief.
Before them the earth quakes,The heavens tremble,The sun and the moon grow dark, And the stars lose their brightness.
And the LORD utters His voice before His army; Surely His camp is very great, For strong is he who carries out His word.
The day of the LORD is indeed great and very awesome, And who can endure it?
"Yet even now," declares the LORD, "Return to Me with all your heart, And with fasting, weeping, and mourning; And rend your heart and not your garments.
"Now return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness, And relenting of evil.
Who knows whether He will not turn and relent,And leave a blessing behind Him,Even a grain offering and a libation For the LORD your God?
NAS

Acts 2:17-21
'And it shall be in the last days,' God says,
'That I will pour forth of My Spirit upon all mankind;
And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
And your young men shall see visions,
And your old men shall dream dreams ;
Even upon My bondslaves, both men and women,
I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit
And they shall prophesy.
'And I will grant wonders in the sky above,
And signs on the earth beneath,
Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke.
'The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come.
'And it shall be, that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.'
NAS

Good morning! How are we faithing? Last night I was out side in the beautiful weather burning brush. I've always been fascinated by fire, the way it moves, the science of consumption and capillary attraction. It also makes me wonder and reflect on God and how things can be made and also the scriptures that talk about fire purifying things. There are many things that get purified by heat and flame. Gold and silver, making steel and even us, though not literal flame, we become wiser from the fire of trials. We have a choice, whine and complain or observe and learn from the things that come at us. I'm as guilty as anybody of saying,"waaa! why does this have to be?" but I'm getting better. I get angry with idiotic events but I'm getting better. I cuss sometimes when failure happens but I'm getting better. I lament over stuff breaking sometimes but I'm getting better. We all have these things happen and down deep our nature is to be selfish and act accordingly but with the Word every day, with Jesus as our focal point and the Holy Spirit speaking and of course us listening, we all get better. Today be aware of your reactions and modify your reactions to those of appropriate action instead. We will be better off...oh boy I sure have room to improve...how about you?

Job 15:34

"For the company of the godless is barren,
And fire consumes the tents of the corrupt.
NAS

1 Corinthians 3:11-1
Now if any man builds upon the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it, because it is to be revealed with fire ; and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. If any man's work which he has built upon it remains, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work is burned up, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as through fire .
NAS

1 Peter 1:3-10
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire , may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.
NAS

Good morning! How are we faithing at the beginning of this work week? Lots of people request prayer. Lots of people are really hurting. Life is rough sometimes so wear a helmet. Mine is the helmet of salvation. What about yours? Do you still operate in the "earning" salvation mode? Do you still think that being gooder will get you in heaven? What does the Word say? "All have fallen short" and "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God". It's really simple. If you truly believe in the son and pursue his teachings, you will get better because what a person has in their heart is what will come out of their mouth. Think about that. You know sad, miserable, depressed and also happy, secure, content people right? Where does our faith come from? Whatever our faith is in will come out in our lives. I tell you these things to encourage you even in terrible times that God is with you who believe. The facts of life can still hurt but our healing comes from the Word of God. In my travels I see tones of little graveyards that go back to the time this nation began and I wonder how those people lived and loved. If they knew our savior and then I realize they had the same problems facing them that we have today and they looked through eyes that knew their time without knowing what the future held. They just did it with different stuff. I look at that old old gravestone and then look in the mirror and realize I'm headed to the same place they did. You know what? It does not scare me anymore. I know where I am headed because the Word tells me.

John 3:16-18
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.
NAS

John 5:24-29
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. "Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear shall live. "For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself; and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man. "Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs shall hear His voice, and shall come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.
NAS

Good morning! How are we all faithing? The social networks on the Internet can serve an honorable purpose. They disseminate information, help us keep track of loved ones and like me for who's family is in another state it is a Godsend. It also can be dangerous. I need not remind you if the inherent dangers of revealing personal information in this age of identity theft and attacks on people physically. It's become a more dangerous world these last few years. As Christians though we are able to help people who might otherwise not get help or are to embarrassed to ask. This outlook has made me keenly aware of nuances in print to alert of trouble and of hurt and despair. Nosey? Perhaps but as fellow human beings and as children of God, how can we not notice and how can we not pray when we see turmoil? I feel for people when they are wandering in the wilderness and pray my musings help for it is Gods wisdom only that affords us passage in this life and reveals all truth. I may not always be right but God always is.

Deuteronomy 11:18-20

"You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. And you shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up.
NAS

Proverbs 2:1-5
My son, if you will receive my sayings,
And treasure my commandments within you,
Make your ear attentive to wisdom,
Incline your heart to understanding;
For if you cry for discernment,
Lift your voice for understanding;
If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will discern the fear of the LORD,
And discover the knowledge of God.

Help us understand temptation and grant us courage and strength to not give in. Teach us to follow that narrow path. Lord we lift those hurting today. Grant comfort and peace in our mourning.
