Good morning! How are we faithing?  Listen up....put on the armor of God before you leave the house. Pray for a hedge of protection around your house so the enemy can't come in. Try donning the armor before you roll out of the sack. Make your requests known to the Lord and remember He knows what you need and your heart. The Lord will speak to you with confirmation and encouragement and the enemy will try to discourage you and accuse you. There is how you recognize who is speaking to you. Go out with that armor on with confidence your savior walks out the door with you....

Rom 13:12
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

2Co 10:3-7
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:   (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)   Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;   And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.   Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that is with us. Lord we lift the mentioned to you. Keep them safe. Keep them secure in your love, in Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? Interesting day yesterday. Saw both good and not so good things happen to others. I find I want to take the pain away in the people I meet. I find I want to help them heal. I find I want to show them how Jesus is calling and while a life of ease and comfort is not what is promised, strength, peace, love and a softer heart is what he gives. Those things get so twisted with the way things have gone in organized churches. Perhaps the perception of those churches is what has many a tad topsy turvy but think on this, why is the perception so off many times? Because of us. We sin and jump on others for the same sin.  David did when he had that affair with Bathsheba and even went to extremes to hide it. When a similar case was presented to him by the prophet Nathan, David was quick to condemn the offender only to find out it was him that Nathan was speaking of. All is known by God so we can't hide anything. We have to be open and honest and not let our ego get in the way of repentance. We must be open to the Holy Spirit when he prompts us to fess up or to humble ourselves, even when it's to someone that makes us want to scream. We are held to a higher standard as children of God therefore being a person who puts on airs rather than being real is a sin also. If you can't speak without gossip or slander, shut up. If what you are about to say will hurt rather than help, is it necessary to verbalize it? Read 2 Samuel chapters 11 and 12.

Luk 6:41-42
"Why do you see the speck in your brother's eye but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?   How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you don't see the beam in your own eye? You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you'll see clearly enough to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

2Pe 2:14-15
With eyes full of adultery, they cannot get enough of sin. They seduce unsteady souls and have had their hearts expertly trained in greed. They are doomed to a curse.  They have left the straight path and wandered off to follow the path of Bosor's son Balaam, who loved the reward he got for doing wrong.

Remember Jerry Glander's family...

Heavenly Father,
Help our unbelief. Help us be pure and real and not fake Christians. Let us be courageous in being humble and trustworthy. Lord we ask for wisdom so we do not harm  your name. Take us into your arms and teach us to be your servants and your disciples. Thank you for this day and the opportunities it will present. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? I was sitting here relaxed listening to a favorite preacher when I heard in my head. "bunker drill!"  Now anyone from the old days in the Air Force Fire Department remembers those drills. The purpose was to train us to react correctly at the sound of the alarm. It worked. Out of a dead sleep we were dressed in fire fighting attire and in formation on the bay floor. We must be trained with the Word of God for when the alarm sounds in life too. The Holy Spirit speaks when the alarm sounds. Be it a warning of danger or a fellow human in need or even just a physical reaction to protect the Innocent. We must train and be ready for all the enemy throws at us. We all have baggage of some sort, some are big bags and some not but all of it still needs a drill to overcome. Our past wreaks havoc in our lives and it is so perplexing sometimes to think something we can't change effects us so. The Word teaches how to handle things but one can't react or act accordingly if one doesn't know how. The best drill to participate in is the one where we pray as quick as we recognize things going awry. Also it is just as important to thank God when things go well. Either way you are focusing on God and that is where all the answers lie...

Heb 4:10
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Joh 11:25-26
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Heavenly Father,
Help us be ready for the attacks from the enemy. Lord, grant us the wisdom to see what is in play and to not be fearful. Help us be courageous in belief. Lord we lift up our leaders to you. Help our tongues be under submission and not flap about idly. Lord we ask for your healing touch for those hurting mentally  and physically. In Jesus name, amen

Great morning! How are we faithing?  I'm a people watcher. They fascinate me. God made us in his image and we are all different. That makes ones head spin. How can we all be like him and yet no two are the same? With that said, I hear excuses for not accepting Jesus as messiah. Some are because of religion, some out of fear and some with logic that is not logic at all but rationalization so one can do what they want to do. Looky at it this way; a race car has a roll cage to protect in the event of a crash right? If  you never crash, is the cage a waste of money? Hardly. It makes the car stronger as well as protects the driver.  An acceptance of the free gift of salvation grants us a trip out of the pit of hell and the lake of fire, communion with the creator and a life lived in love instead of in hate.   Gee whiz, we even get a manual to live by. We all have an option to accept the truth of the Word of God or not.  You may choose to or not to install a roll cage in your nine second car but you are in peril of death if a crash happens. If we refuse Messiah, we will meet with the second death in the lake of fire. It's our choice and God will honor that choice. That's free will. Pick one people, your destiny is up to you...

remember Mary H...Ed and Dee...the Doctors and nurses who put in those long hours to fix our bodies...

Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to ask for peace and wisdom to accomplish the things you have for us and to see truth. Lord, help us with our unbelief. Our eyes deceive us and sometimes we can't seem to believe beyond what we see. Take the blinders off and remove the scales from our eyes. Teach us to be willing to be the ambassadors for you. Let the people we meet see your light in us. Let our lives shine so the lost are attracted to the light like a moth to a street light. Grant us the wisdom to say the right things for them, not for our edification. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing this fine day? It is very curious that we profess salvation, of the grace given us, the unconditional love from God and yet we still talk smack about other Christians. If we as believers can't look for attributes and speak well of all our brothers and sisters in Christ, what makes us think non believers, who don't know this grace and peace we have, will?  We shouldn't even speak ill of ourselves and non believers. Condemning an illicit action is necessary but why do we call the person every name out there? I understand pain. I understand being stepped on hard, and so does Jesus. Did he talk about people behind their back? Nope. If he had issue he went to that person. If he knew of a sin causing something he addressed the sin and the spirit involved. Like we've said before, there are consequences for actions in a civilized society but we are not to be gossips, slanderers, back biters or finger pointers of individuals and condemners of persons.  Do you see this? Do you understand the damage caused by idle remarks? Do you realize once it flies out of your mouth, it can't be pulled back? Just think about it....

Tit 3:1-3
Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,   To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.   For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

remember Jerry's Mom...

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the grace you have given us. Lord, help us be mindful of our remarks and of our view of others. Grant us the wisdom to say correct things. Lord we ask to not cause pain but to lift others up. Give us the courage to stand for truth. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? Listen to yourself speak. What do you say about things? Do you see the bad or the good only? Do you speak ill of anything that isn't in line with yourself? Do you speak ill of people or the infractions they did? Do you recognize sin or beguile the sinner?  What ever you take into your heart is what will come out. We must be careful what we are exposed to. We must learn to be aware of the danger of things that can hurt our loving heart and turn it into a bitter one. Not sure where you are in this? Stop and think before you speak for awhile and hear your own thoughts and what you are about to say.

Luk 6:45
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Eph 4:31-32
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Pro 26:20
Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.

Tit 3:1-2
Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,   To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

Great morning! How are we faithing? When the realization hits you that you and your sinful nature is between you and God, not between your neighbor or the Christian down the street as a comparison, it is then you are able to look honestly and repent which in turn is the acceptance of the grace offered by the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf.  You've said it, I've said it; " I ain't as bad as so and so" or "if that person is an example of a Christian, no thanks".  How "they" act is between them and God just like how you act is between you and God and any comparison or holding a gauge up to see how much gooder you are than others is ridiculous simply because you ain't them. They fall short just like you and me. They may struggle with stuff you don't and visa versa.  What does the Word say? "All have fallen short" so don't look at your or their failings but look at the grace of God through Jesus the messiah because without that, we all fall.

Eph 1:17-19
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that shows how we should be. Help us not compare ourselves to others or model after them. Help us see Jesus and model his words. Lord we lift up those mentioned. heal bodies and minds. Set your spirit on them to open their eyes to truth. Lord we thank you for all your blessings, in Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? Have had questions about losing ones salvation and having to be saved again. The Word tells us we cannot be snatched from the Father. The Word tells us we are to serve each other. How do those two things fit together? Let me explain.  Jesus washed the feet of the disciples and Peter said,"wash my head and hands" but Jesus said, "those need not be washed again." Do you see that? We who believe are already washed in the blood of Jesus so we only need to wash off the dirt on our feet.  We take a shower but walk around, we're clean but our feet will be dirty from what we walk  on so we wash off the dirt..the sins.

Joh 13:5-11
After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.  Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.   Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.   Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.   Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.   For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.

 Heavenly Father,
Thank you for revealing your Word to us. Lord , forgive our sins and help us not repeat them. Help us have clear vision of your ways every day. Lord we thank you for your love. Grant us wisdom to act as you would have us to,. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning!  How are we faithing? Some practice a very dangerous thing. They take one verse of the Word to justify something they believe or want to be so. People, anything can be used for good or bad and taking one verse because it "fits" an idea is not how we are to take the Word. The whole council of God is to be taken in it's entirety. Sure things like "thou shalt not steal" are hard fast but there are numerous cults that came about from one verse taken out of context.  The apostles, mainly Paul, addressed many things that were pertinent to the culture as viewed with Godly wisdom but were not commandments forever. Paul spoke of women are to be silent in church but there were also prophetess' , helpers and also preached and witnessed to the gentiles. There are deaconesses in the Bible. Paul was speaking of order in church and also because women were not treated culturally the way they are now. Big subject but if that verse were to be taken alone, we'd never hear a female voice in church. Read Acts 15:1-29 to see an example how things can
get weird if the whole council is not looked at.

Pro 1:5-6
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that guides and teaches us. Help us see truth and wisdom in your Word. Let us not get off the narrow path onto something that can become heresy. Lord we lift those seeking you that they see you today. Help our doubt become belief. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? It is very interesting to talk to people who are stuck where they are in the flesh. The battles are the same and the weapons of war are the same. We keep fighting the same things over and over. We ask "why me" or cry over the same old things. Why do we do this? Why do we keep walking head long into things acting the same but expect different results? Habit perhaps, set in our ways, upbringing, stubbornness, comfort zone maybe, all the same ol' stuff isn't it!  We as believers have got to be in the Word on our own and not rely on just that preacher a couple times a week. Why? Well first it's communication with our heavenly father and second it's nourishment for our bones. We drink water right? We eat right? Those are for our body but we are willing to neglect our mind and spirit? Come on people, we have the greatest gift ever offered and yet we sit on it without using it like it is designed? We do the maintenance on stuff we buy don't we? Why would we not maintain this? We don't buy a car and never drive it do I? We don't buy a guitar and never play it do we? Just some food for thought today....

Luk 21:33
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Jas 1:21-22
Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Php 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
