I guess I have collected quite a bunch of comic books and other type items. Some related to firefighting, sci fi, fantasy and other subjects.
"Ash" a comic book that was put out by Event Comics was a good series until the company fell apart and the people went their separate ways. One went to work for Marvel Comics.
A Japanese Series I have collected "Firefighter Daigo of Fire Company M" all 20 issues. I even have a DVD based on the series using some of the story line from the manga.
A new series "Fire Investigator Nanase" about a female fire investigator whose parents died in a fire. During her training she rescues a arsonest who then becomes her stalker and rescues her from another arsonest out to kill her and teaches her what to look for.
I have collect graphic novels on stories on 9/11.
Cartoons I guess I go for the DC Comics, Marvel super heroes.
Japanese Anime I have many series I have come to like.
I was once a member of a anime club until it disolved due to loss of members over what everyone wanted things to be.
I attend anime cons in Maryland and Virginia. One in Virginia I started as a Medical Staffer and still provide help at a three day weekend.
I'm a big Batman fan. I also like Superman and the JLA.
I lost my older brother in the WTC on 9/11 so my crew got me an original of Superman coming out of the rubble with a firefighter in his arms signed by the artist Kevin Conrad.
I have it framed in my den "Comic book room"
