One of our local churches are having their annual spaghetti dinner to benefit our fire dept. on Sat. Sept. 12th from 4-7 pm at the Emannuel Luthern Church on Georgetown rd. just east of Rochester rd. in North Georgetown (or as most people know it from a certain person: G-Town!)

Buffalo Fire Commissioner Mike Lombardo has confirmed that there was a 911 report of someone who may be trapped inside 1815 Genesee just before 0400 hours this morning. Buffalo Fire Departments Lt. Charles "Chip" McCarthy, 45 (22 years on the job) and FF Jonathan Croom, 34 (10 years on) went into the building to search for the possible victim. The bodies of the 2 Firefighters were found together in the basement of the structure and ave their live in the Line of Duty. These men died in the Line of Duty as heroes in their attempt to locate reported trapped victims.

suprisingly there are a lot of video's like that available here in the good ole U S the problem is the companys that made the movies have put a price tag on them that only chester and the federal gov. could afford

What the shame ,that it always seems countries other than ours come out with these videos. Why can't it be done here.

The first thing that got my attention was how well the emergency crews were protected EMS with helmets, everyone in vest. I know we all can look that way on a mock scene but you will see them dressed that way on the real deal. Years ago we made fun on how their fire apparatus looked and now look at what is on the new trucks. How many years have they been like that? a good many. You are looking at the future requirments when you see that video.

Honestly if you wish to talk or text on a phone when you drive i feel you should have to take a different drivers test a much more strict one to prove you can do it. some people can multi task others can not. sadly those who can not think they can..
