hiya, just joined FF Nation - neat site. Have a retired lab who had two careers - first in arson detection (beofre I got him) then HRD once he came to our house. Now trying to train a very stubborn lab mix for live find.

My name is Bob Deeds and I am a K9 Search Specialist with Texas-Task Force 1. I have a certified disaster dog, 2yoa female, Gracie. She is the second disaster dog I have trained and my 3rd SARDog. My 1st disaster dog, Kinsey, was killed in the line of duty, January 7, 2007. I'm also starting a 4th dog...A male Mal that I am training for disaster cadaver. My wife and I own a company call Canine Connection, where we train everything from detection to pet dogs. I have been on 14 deployments in my USAR career, some state and some federal. I look forward to getting to know you guys and the wealth of knowlege you bring to the table.
