Alright im going to rant! Im extremely upset with the Army at the moment. They no longer have Active positions for Firefighters. I know they are contracting out to civilians but, It is just frustrating. I wish not to join the Air Force........

AF and Army brat, 3.5 yrs active Army, and in the reserves since 90. Been in the fire service 16 years now. Just got back on the trucks after a year in far off exotic lands, on an all expenses paid vacation, from my favorite uncle....

Hey yall hope everyone is havin a great holiday season & a safe one. Hopefully you are all here in the states but I know that some of our brothers & sisters are currently deployed somewhere out there. I just what to wish yall a safe & happy new year. Hello, I am in Iraq at this time. With the Arkansas Guard the, 39th Brg. Can't wait to get back to firefighting(Vol). Love it and miss it. It is may second family.
