Gosh, I remember it like it was yesterday. I was working for a doctor here in Waverly. He and his wife are from Afghanistan. We were all just blowed away by all the events. It was so weird having to watch it on TV as the doctor stood behind us. He didn't know what to say and all we could do was cry and ask God to help the people in NY and Philly. It felt awkward having to go back to work day after day, knowing that the doctor's "people" did such a horrific thing that grim day.

I was living in Albany at the time. My husband and I were working for a towing company, and we got the all call over the radio to get back to the yard. We all sa there and watched it on the tv. Shocked, we went on with the day with a heavy feeling on our hearts. Two days later, We were sitting on Wall Street hauling a rolloff dumpster waiting to deliver it. It was nothing I have ever seen before. Let us never forget that day and all the people that were lost. Pray for thier families.

I was in high school we were in class and on of my buddys said that somthing had happend to the twin towers and i didnt belive him at first so i went down to the office and they had the tv on and i whatched for a while i remember setting at lunch by my self and filling like i was the only one in the room. I just couldnt belive it and i didnt want to eather. I had been doing the Jr firefighter program for a little while and i wanted so bad to go help knowing that there was really little that i could do and being under 18 at the time i couldnt even give blood then. it was such a bad time and my heart goes out to the familys of the fallen public safty that died that day doing what they didnt think twist about doing to save a life! they are truly heros and they will never be forgoten!

Heading in for duty, I was listening to Howard Stern when it was taken off the air and immediately went to news reports....It was such a surreal day.

9-11 was a bad day and I joined after it happened to honor those who arent here today and pay respect to them. The 343 will always be remembered and never forgot.
