Sounds good, Kirk. I would suggest that you make these more specific and measurable, so that you can see your progress through the year.
NOPE, set a goal to NOT set any goals
Be Safe-ish
well in the past year I have finished my emt basic and fire academy (top recruit)<----proud as hell of that

next year I would like to finish my paramedic and get started on the next big thing in my life havent figured out what that is yet but that is on my list

as for me to work on
not being a push over as much
working on me being too modest
is this with your fire dept. ?
I created a website where fireman can post their handyman services for free. Please pass the word and link to our site. Thanks...

my goal for the yr is to get my ff 2 and take a few other classes to advance in my dept.plus work on some personal goals
My goals for the new year are to quit smoking, obtain my Instructor II/III, work out more to be a better and safer firefighter, and spend as much time with my family as I possibly can.

TCSS everybody. Let's make this the year the LODD's drop considerably!!!
My goal for this year is to be a better husband to my wife and a better father to my children. 1st by having a longer temper fuse. And by putting myself second to them.

My next goal is to have better thought out training sessions for our training nights.

Be safe,
J.D.
My goal in 2010 is to keep make sure that my personnel go home at the end of their tour of duty n the same condition as they did when they came to work... okay, so they may not be as bright eyed and bushy tailed as they are at 0800 and 1800... but as long as they go home, I did my job.
I have too set a few goals for myself for the upcoming New Year. First and foremost I'd like to be a better a officer for the guys under me, not that I'm all that bad to start but they always say "There's ALWAYS room for improvement"

I hope to start a family soon, this may be more 2011 but still a goal in sight.
Personel....Be more open to others suggestions, at work, home and firehouse(within reason). Spend less time on this dam internet(but its all worthwhile things(racing, firedept stuff, earthmoving, etc)

Fire Dept...Finally get my FF1 Cert done, rope rescue tech and help with making our dept great(SOG's set up and followed, more interesting/fun training)

Hope you all have a safe holiday and new years.

Jason
My station is starting a physical fitness program for our fire fighters.
