last year it was about 450 with 400 medical
I will say as staffing has dropped, calls have continually rose. We avg around 10,000 something a year. My last round I felt like I did about half that personally....my ass was dragging at the end of the round.
250 per year and 95% of those are EMS related.
All volley dept we run about 180 calls a year, just like most depts. 90% are ems calls , with only 3-emt's in the dept
I'm with a volly department with 1 station and we run 300-400 calls a yr.
My dept. (Combination of full and part time personel) handels around 2000 fire calls and 2000 medical calls.
We have 2 ambulances for 39,5 square mile (+/- 40.000 people), 1 city. We protect 4 cities for fire emergencies
These ambulances respond from our HQ in Lommel. We have 2 stations, and the total protected area for fire is 89 square mile with +/- 73000 residentes.
We have chemical industrie, normal industrial activities and a large tourist complex.
We have 30 full time fire figters and 80 part time fire fighters in the 2 stations.
8 to 20 calls a year. 5 so far this year.
We're a small town volunteer department with a 100 square mile district. We run an average of 300 calls a year. We are at 175 now. About 75% EMS First Responder calls.
id say our county is about the same sometimes more sometimes less
little difference here huh
must be nice!
Not in the middle of the night. Lately I've been averaging 0-2 hours of sleep per tour.
