Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Originally it was just to have something to do but the more I do the more I love it. Knowing that everyday you could save someones life or just make a new friend is so worth it all!!

Small town dept.

I and a firefighter in a small vol. dept. in Waverly TN. We do get a lot of calls but it is awesome to go out every time and learn something new. Our chief is one of the best guys. He's very understanding and at the same time doesn't put up with any crap! I've learned more in the past year about people than any other time in my life. I couldn't ask for any better family. These guys (and girls) are the best!!

Amy, Montgomery County signed off on a parcel of land last night for PVFS to build our new substation on and committed to a new classA pumper for the station.$ 412,000.00 in all in equiptment & supplies WOW!!!!! Keep pressure on your politicians at the local, state and federal levels persistence pays off. Hope all is well there, keep on plugin......
