Wildland or a High-Rise Fire?

Ive had the pleasure of training With a couple high rank chiefs during a laro class and they said they would never work a wildland fire and said a high rise is safer. What do you think is better?
Californias new law for Driver/Operators.

As of Jan 1st 2011 all standard Class B Firefighter restricted License. will now be class C with a firefighter endorsment. I was wondering What are your state Policies for for driving Fire engines.Continue

department problems

We been having issues with a county fire problem as for the past 60 years our county has a contract thru calfire, my department has a contract to staff the second engine out to all county calls now we had an idea to have a city run the county with us running the west side of it all. After a long vote the county did in fact give it to the city and us and last week they re voted to have calfire stay another year. And calfire wants to build two new… Continue
