Feedback Needed: "Add as friend"
Most of you have probably spent some time around the site now and I need your feedback.
The default settings for the site put the 'add as friend' link right below member pictures on the Member list, which allows you to quickly add multiple friends. However, that could also be a bad thing and you end up with more 'friend' requests than are really easy to manage.
Alternatively, we can remove it and users would actually have to visit your user profile and add you from there...so a bit of an extra step to ensure they know who you are and vice versa.

I'd suggest letting it ride for now chief. As we continue (hopefully) to bring new members to the board, it seems logical to make it simplistic for them to establish their friends list. As the Board continues to grow, and gets more and more members, it may be a good idea in the future to limit mass updates and additions. But for now I'd keep it simple so that the Board grows.

I personally like to look at the profile before I accept anyway. Making this extra step a mandatory step would not change anything for me.
I think it's a great idea. We should move to a long term change as soon as possible when the need is established. If this is established as a problem, then let's move to the solution.
