What do other volunteer fire departments do for Cadets and blue lights? Do you let them run blue lights? Do you have a different color loght for them? Or do you just not allow them to run any kind of lights at all?

we are not allowed to use lights of any colors or our hazards hbu
our sog"s dont allow cadats or juniors to run blue lights and i believe pa law dosent allow juniors to run blue lights
To my understanding we dont allow Explorers (I believe it would be the equiv to your cadets) to Run any lights.
Our department does not have a cadet or junior FF program, but the neighboring dept does, they don't allow any lights to be placed on a jr ff's vehicle.
When it comes to cadets (juniors)on the ambulance corps due to insurance reasons we do not allow them to respond with blue lights to a call! On the fire dept we do not have juniors yet but I know as a probationary member it is up to the Captain to allow who can have a blue light and who can't.
in nevada its illegal just for the volunteers to have siren or lights in their personal vehicle
