Yeah, I try and do my best out there, I guess that's why I've gotten this far. And thanks, a lot of people dont believe me when i say im a firefighter cause i have my hair done and make up on every day, lol but they've never seen me get dirty!

That I really dont know. The gear I have now that I use is the regular suit with a different color helmet. Since we can't respond to any fire calls we only use that gear for training. I hope I helped you out in some way, even though I didnt have alot of info to give you.

yo whats up.. in my department in amsterdam ny the minimum age is 10 years old and after you turn 16 you can be an active FF. you cant respond to any calls or ride in the truck. you are required to attend the monthly meetings and help with truck checks and help clean up around the firehouse. There isn't much you can do though when you are a junior, but try and make the best of it.
