Stephenson MI. , south central u.p. we cover the city of stephenson,stephenson twsp, and lake twsp. we also shuttle water in the twsp., and have hydrants in the city limits. we have two engines two tankers (tenders if prefer) , and one really cool looking grass truck. the grass truck is very functionable too.
I fight fire in Coral about 50 mins north of Grand Rapids.. We also use tankers (tenders) to move water. I am the captain there and we do alot of mutual aid for water and manpower. We have 1 engine, 1 tanker, 2 grass rigs. We do all right with what we have.
Solon Twp, Kent County, Mich..Volunbteer Fire Dept. we have one station, 2 pumpers, 2 tankers, 2 grassfire/wildland rigs, and 2 rescue vehicles..No hydrants, so we also use tankers and lots of mutual aid on big fires..Currently have about 30 active members with 1 member serving in Iraq.We average well over 350 runs per year, most of which are medical or accident related
Started in Grand Traverse County as a Volunteer in 75. Moved to Arizona in 79 and retired from Yuma Proving Ground an Army test station in 2000. Now I am a photographer for Arizona western College Public Safety Institute Police, Fire and EMS Academys.
Berlin Orange Township Fire Dept, we cover 80 square miles 12 miles are the express way of I-96, we have 3 pumper tankers and 1 grass truck. located in the county of Ionia...

Gun Plain Township in Allegan County, we have some hydrants, but mostly water shuttle with 2 tankers and mutual aid. we also have 2 engines, and a 1975 GMC grass rig with only 8000 original miles on it

Petoskey, Walloon lake,Michigan the melrose twp fire dept just a few poorly flowing hydrants we have two stations one in the villiage of Walloon lake and the second in Chandler hill covering all of melrose and chandler twps. I'm also a resort bear creek fire dept member we cover all of the land surrounding the city of Petoskey. we have great flowing hydrants we run tankers(tender) and both depts are rural country,farm land we have 3 stations and are ready to build a new station 4 all in the resort and bear creek townships. I'm also a emt with the boyne city ambulance we cover parts of 5 different townships I kinda get around. take care be safe and god bless
