Hey FFN Crew!
I am planning a "fake" picnic for a contest on table setting at my fair. The theme is "In Honor of the 343". I have everything for the set-up-all I need are menu items. What special firefighter foods have you had at a picnic? It is supposed to be a lunch.
Any ideas would be great!
TCSS!!

Chili.............probably found at any firehouse out there at some point or another
I agree with Ben. LOL! :)
Grilled meat...
For the contest I am not allowed to have any "edible" items on the table. I have to set two place settings and decorate the table to a theme of my choosing. I need to make up a menu and have it on the table.
I was thinking of Charbroiled hamburgers-but that really does not fit into the theme honorably.
So far I am having:
5 alarm chilli
Clam chowder?
What else?
i get it now...
How about Towers and Hosers?
Towers = Bacon double cheeseburgers
Hosers= foot long hot dogs
Stick with the 5 Alarm Chilli...not sure about the clam chowder as related to theme.
So far this is my menu:
Lunch:
New York Firehouse 5 Alarm Chili
Firehouse Mac-N-Cheese
Chef 14 Salad
Heart Attack Potatoes
Cornbread Muffins
Drinks:
Cherry 7-up Punch
Blueberry Iced Tea
Fresh Squeezed Lemonade
Desserts:
Chocolate Fudge Nanaimo Bars
Blueberry Pound Cake
Firefighters Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies
Sound yummy?
