Planning on getting a rope bag here soon and i was wondering about the pros and cons of weather having it secured to my scba harness or on my tool belt? kind of simple, but just seeing what everyone else thinks
First, the obvious answer is that it will become an entaglement hazard. Second, a bailout rope is a single purpose rope, to save your ass. If you use it for a utility rope, then you may find that when you need to bail, its not ready. Third, use one of your bellows pockets on your leg, it works perfectly.
I kind of like that pocket idea, ive seen it before in the leg pocket but never thought of keeping it in jacket pocket. What would be a good size and length rope for utility and bailout?
