Stryker seems to make a new model every month and I cant tell the diff
I recommend Stryker. Great products and pretty innovative company.
The Stryker power cots are better! They are still light weight just like the regular strykers but doorable!
The battery is a dewalt battery so if it dies on u can get one just about anywhere! Plus the stryker power cot comes with a lot more better and cool features. Check out strykers site!

Ferno power cots are horrible, they are 10x's heavier even without the patient on it, the battery is the size of a damn suitcase! And the stretcher lock charger mounts are problemsome!

So definately recommend the stryker power cot!
Stryker!!!!
We rejected the "powered cots" because they were trying to use them to justify cutting our manpower. We rejected the "powered cots" and opted for calling for more manpower when needed.
Power cots are NOT meant to be a force multiplier. They are merely a tool. In this case a tool that helps us save our backs during patient lifting.
nicely done... it's incredibly that we have to even think of things like this but it is what it is and as long as we have folks with no clue as to what our needs are compared to their bean counting... you know the rest...

Happy Holidays Shareef! CBz
Thanks Cap. we are also against hydraulic ladder racks for the same reason. I know it sounds silly and childish, but this fight is a serious one and we don not want anything that means less manpower. I can guarantee that with a powered cot, we would lose 1 member on the "bus" and with hydraulic ladder racks, we will also lose 1 member in the back of the apparatus.
