I would say Mittendorfs "Truck Company Operations" book is THE difinitive work on the subject. Second would be the chapters in Jon Normans Fireground Company Officer Book.

I agree totally! I can't count how many times I have use Chief Mittendorf's book as a reference in training with my FD.
