what the longest your department went with out getting a call

mine was 3 weeks

We went a whole 24 hours without a call just last week. First time in a year.

Again Tyler, we're having comparrisons between large, multi station departments and small single station department. Not many 'departments' are as large as my fire service, many however are busier. What will the numbers mean if I give them?

You're a junior/explorer, getting up a lot of Nation points though aren't you? Your mind seems active, put your thinking towards more meaningful subjects.

Well that's not out of 1 fire house. We have 33 and then special events like that usually call for an extra company or two in service as well as special ops throwing some extra people near certain ends of town.

Man thats still alot to deal with in on night. I had a instructor from East St Louis who told us there bad day is the day after Thanksgiving. Is that a hard day there too?
