Why do People think FireFighters are Rednecks in the South
just wondering why because that stereotype thing got me wondering so anybody got any ideas i wont take offense to any of them there ansewers yall might give to me hahahaha jk lol

ya betcha - stock car wrecks and dalmation paint - that qualifies just about everyone to be a firefighter right there

The more I look at the stuff being carried on that first picture I posted, the more I like it! A bit of though has gone into it. I mean seriously, consider the following:
- The colour TV. Let's face it, the pump operator can get pretty bored, pretty quickly.
- Kegs for dehydration. Again, loads of firey's would agree with that. And it makes for good team spirits with the other agencies on scene.
- High Standing Seats. Easier to see where we're going, see further along traffic- it's got some merit.
- Fish Sonar. In principle it'd work great wouldn't it for locating drowned victims?
- High Powered Spotlight. I never understand why we're always quick to extinguish the only half decent light source on scene. ;-)
I reckon we could learn something from this discussion....

A semi loaded with dressed chickens from a Cagles chicken plant here tied up with a twelve row combine one afternoon! Chickens were strowed all across 4 lanes of US 19! Some were still in the ends of the refer trailer that broke in half! The state cleared the load for the dump! In comes prisoners from the county jail to help clean up the mess! Dark falls and between the prisoners rubber neckees and people that just plain couldn't help themself that load of chickens got cleaned up in a matter of hours! We had many find raisers at every dept in the county! Chicken Perlue chicken rice chicken dumplings chicken..... Well you get the picture! Does that qualify for redneck?
