Is it possible to make a tiller tower, or would the bucket get in the way of the tillerman?

Thanks!!

Sutphen made one a number of years ago. The concept never caught on, so the project was canned.

I managed to find a picture of the beast online. Hope it turns out.

There are a few depts that still use tillers. Some do in my county. I guess if some dept wanted to spend the money for one they would have one built. There has been a push to get more depts to use towers because of the using twin water monitors as part of the platform for major knock downs on building fires plus the platforms being used for rescues of victims.
man would love to be a tillerman growing up in brooklyn as a child would watch the tillers go around the corners in aw they are beautiful apparatus stay safe everyone
We still use tillers. There great for getting around on narrow city streets.
Always wanted to know if there was a "tillerman's course" or if it was something taught in-house. Or could it be a combination of the two? Kind of like FF1&2, take the course, then begin to learn on the job.
Where I'm from, to drive the tractor part, you have to have EVOC 4, and the tillerman spot requires EVOC 3 and in house training.
